TF2TD is a classic Tower Defense gamemode with Team Fortress mixed into the woodwork. The game is split into two teams ( RED and BLU, of course ) which attempt to stop runners of the opposite color from reaching their Capture Point or Intelligence, which is generally positioned at the middle of the map between the two defenses. The towers are the classes from TF2, and every class is buildable as a tower with the exception of the engineer ( the players are the engineers of the teams. ) Each class does something different as a tower, and has its own specialty and use. The runners that are put through your defense are also the different classes of TF2 units, once again each with different attributes based on their TF2 counterparts.
The gamemode is now playable on Pulsar Effect servers via IP 208.122.52.37:27015.
