Last year I created Infected Wars, a fast paced, team oriented and class based "zombies versus humans" gamemode containing elements from Zombie Survival, Crysis, Quake, Counter-Strike and what-not. It enjoyed some moderate success but faded away after some time because of a few technical issues.

Until I stumbled upon this. My gamemode got featured in the december issue of the largest PC gaming magazine in the UK! And I didn't know about it until three months later!

This gave me enough motivation to push out one final update for this gamemode to fix the remaining issues and add some new features that I wanted to do for a long time. Now the gamemode is back in full force, better than ever!

Changelog
* Rewrote gore, no more crashes!
* Last Stand mode for when there's one human left
* Multiple rounds and map voting possibilities at end of the round!
* Turret information like health and kills are displayed on HUD
* Grenade throws can now be charged by holding mousebutton
* Some HUD improvements
* Shotgun reloading now as it should be
* Better sniper zooming
* New gore sounds
* Undead reinforcements now increase with more players
* Turrets now accompany their owners instead of remaining stationary
* Turret placer changed in a turret command tool
* Turret dies when owner dies
* You can give the turret a nickname in the options menu
* Experimental class is now more vulnerable to damage
* Supplies class received health buff
* Small ammo boxes give grenades. Supply class ammo boxes replenish mines!
