ancientevil's
SpiderMod has been released, and it's gone through some major changes.
First of all, this no longer runs as a separate gamemode, it's a SWEP now, so you can now use this in SandBox mode. This means if you have an older version installed, you should delete it from your gamemodes folder and install this one in your addons folder instead.
To enable the SWEP's ability to hook into the game, this console command needs to be entered in first:
sm_enabled 1
This also operates on several different "OpModes", which can be changes using this console command:
sm_opmode
You can check out a list of the different OpModes in the forum thread, which is linked to at the end of this article.
There's also a new feature to choose which mode of power you want to have once spidermod is active - to be spiderman, or to be human.
It shows up every time you spawn. You have the ability to make it remember your choice for every time you spawn on the map if you tick the appropriate box. To make it forget your decision so you can choose a different choice, enter this into your console:
sm_forget_power_choice
