Nachdem Update 76 ein Fehlschlag war und Update 77 die Änderungen lediglich wieder rückgängig gemacht hat, kommen nun mit dem 78. Update für Garry's Mod tatsächlich wieder einige Änderungen:
Added new spawnicons
Added ‘proper’ thirdperson animations
Added support for spawning TF2 Spy with masks
Added sv_max_usercmd_future_ticks (default: 8) should prevent speedhacks.
Added support for per-map particle systems
Fixed crash in Entity:TranslateBoneToPhysBone()
Fixed crash when closing with the help window open
Fixed zombie crash
Fixed bone follower crash (when using unsuitable model)
Fixed crash exploit when Script Enforcer was enabled
Added support for Vector * Vector
Added Entity:SetRenderFX( kRenderFx* )
Added “Depth” and “SizeMode” key values for render targets.
Added ParseParticleManifest( file ) where file will be translated into particles/particles_(file).txt.
Added Player:SetRenderAngles( angle )
Added Entity:GetPlaybackRate()
Fixed quotes in GLON
Returning true in PrePlayerDraw will prevent them from being drawn.
Restricted file.Read to txt, lua, cfg
Wie immer, sollte Garry's Mod sich automatisch aktualisieren. Wenn nicht, muss der Steam-Client neu gestartet werden. Wenn ihr Probleme mit dem Multiplayer habt, solltet ihr überprüfen ob der Server schon aktualisiert ist.
