The Bitfilm Film Festival is a yearly event where machinimakers, special effects artists and more get together in one place to show off their work and have it judged by the Bitfilm community.
The categories in this festival are:
3D SPACE AWARD - computer-generated 3D animations
FX MIX AWARD - digitally composed hybrid films
MACHINIMA AWARD - films shot live in computer games or virtual worlds POLITICOOL AWARD - digital animations or mash-ups with a political message
The category of interest to us of course is the machinima category, as the machinima Shelf Life (http://www.garrysmod.com/?dont_buff_my_pylon=1575) is having a go at winning this year's machinima award.
