Aska49 (http://www.facepunch.com/member.php?u=78470)'s Mario Hat entity is more than a simple hat like previous (http://www.garrysmod.com/?dont_buff_my_pylon=1335) addons (http://www.garrysmod.com/?dont_buff_my_pylon=1502) featured on this site.

This entity gives you the ability to double - and triple jump, much like Mario can in Super Mario 64. You can also wall jump, long jump, and stomp on your enemy's heads! (and even gain health from doing so...)

Since when you are using this hat it gets put on your head, you can use that as an indication if one of your friends are using this addon too. However it may be a bit tricky to tell, if your friend is using a Mario playermodel (http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=71993) or something like that...

This is a complete remake of an earlier Mario Hat addon this author made, so you can consider this to be Mario Hat 2.0
