Lua coder WeltEnSTurm (http://www.facepunch.com/member.php?u=131939) has been active in the Gmod community for quite some time now, and in that time he's made a few interesting add-ons for it. Here's some of the add-ons he's made so far:
Gravity Controller V3
‟It's pretty useful if you don't want to use hoverballs (which I hate), it makes your whole contraption hover through the air. It also has an airbrake (global, and local x,y,z value), so you don't have to press 100 buttons per second to keep your ship in position. It's fully (as far as I know) spacebuild compatible.
If you're not a spacebuild fan, you can still use it for stabilizing your helicopter/hoverbike whatever, you can disable controlling gravity of props. If you like stargate and especially Atlantis and are still a spacebuild fan, this will pleasure you. It has a "spacegate powernode" function, if you attach 3 of these things on an Atlantian gate and enable it, it will keep it's position there. I improved it very much, so it won't spaz around this position anymore. But be sure to weight all 3 controllers correctly! If the weight is below 100 it won't work properly.
Version 3 is completely recoded, I decided to do that because the old code was my pretty first one, and y'all may know how first codes are.„

Advanced Settings
‟Ever tried playing a hl2-map in Gmod? Well, then you sure noticed that something is wrong. Everything seems so small and it gets boring too fast.
So, what's the problem? The speed of the player. You run double as fast as normal, and gordon has a HEV-suit in hl2 so you run 3 times faster than a normal human could do.
Also, everything seems a bit smaller as normal because Garry uses the CS:S field of view, but scaled down to FoV75. So, if you want to feel a bit smaller, change the FoV in my panel or the advanced graphics menu when you press escape.
In this script, you can change the walkspeed, disable the deathnotices and a bit more.
With most of the sliders you just control already existing convars, except the walkspeed bit and the autosave part.
Autosave? Yes! I really got annoyed by Gmod crashing randomly, about 20 hours of work got lost with that. So I made an autosave thing that saves after a controllable amount of seconds.„

Wire Thruster Effect Fix
‟This just fixes these errors shown in the picture appearing sometimes when using particle thruster effects.
These guys really made one emitter controller per frame! I reduced it to one per thruster, so you won't get these errors again until you make 1000 thrusters with such an effect.
If anybody of the wire team reads this, please add it to your svn.„
