A new Gamemode Coding Contest has begun over on the Facepunch Forums (http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=695475). As with the previous Gamemode Coding Contests, entrants must create a gamemode that fits in with the theme and it's required rules. Gamemodes don't have to completely finished or even released, you're good to go as long as they're developed enough to show the basic concept and the purpose; pictures and videos are recommended.
This contest's theme is "side scroller", meaning that any gamemodes entered must scroll from side to side in the style of games such as Super Mario Bros. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Mario_Bros.) However, there's a twist: entered gamemodes must somehow include hats, but just putting a hat on the player won't count.
