Last year we were blessed with plenty of amazing maps, including GM_Atomic and GM_Reaction. Now, rieda1589 (http://www.facepunch.com/member.php?u=126459) has brought us one of this year's most amazing maps!
We've always wanted bigger and bigger maps to explore, so what's better then than the whole earth? This map was made using NASA data, huge textures, highly detailed displacements and a lot of free time. Well, you probably know what the earth we live on looks like and this map really does a good job at looking like it. But as always, you're going to play in it, so decide for yourself!
