7 Simple Gamemodes

Yesterday we spotlighted a classic Garry's Mod Gamemode Build to the Top, this time we're going to cover over seven other simple, yet fun gamemodes to play with friends. These aren't complex gamemodes with fancy HUDS or Inventories like you see in most Role-Play servers nowadays. These focus on the importance of one thing, Fun.

Pick #1:
Ultimate Dodgeball

Such a classic game; in both real life and the virtual world. The task is simple, launch coloured balls at the opposing team until it's the last man standing.

Pick #2:
Freeze Tag

A Childhood Playground Classic for all of us. The objective is simple, one person is the "Tagger"; his job is simple, tag and freeze the rest of the players. Players can get thawed by having the ice shot off of them, this will bring them back into the game.

Foot Race

In Foot Race the first Player to complete 3 laps is the winner. On the way you can pick up various power-ups along the way.

Pick #4:
Asshole Physics: Source

This is a simple gamemode for the raging, angsty teen inside all of us. In Asshole Physics your team must cause the most monetary damage than the other team by breaking props and getting multipliers for breaking multiple props at once.

Pick #5:
9/10ths

A relatively new type of gamemode; however, this is just as fun as the others. in 9/10ths your job as a team is to collect the most props on the map to win. You can steal the opposing team's props, but remember to watch your stash in the process.

Pick #6:
Laser Dance

For Veteran Garry's Mod Players you will recognize this gamemode making a new appearance in Garry's Mod 10. In Laser Dance you Fly around and Shoot other Players with your Laser. But remember to heal your own teammates before getting too cocky.

Pick #7:
King of the Hill

A very classic game we've all played either in real life or in the virtual world. In King of the Hill the player to stay in the designated spot longest wins. However; other players will do all they can to get you off by using weapons of all sorts.
