While there was a recent post on the future of GMod maps, a few important maps were left out. These maps are groundbreaking, huge, or just plain cool. Although they aren't yet released, these maps will certainly receive a lot of playtime.
RP_EvoCity2
RP_EvoCity2 (http://forums.facepunchstudios.com/showthread.php?t=447146), the map to end all maps. EvoCity2 is the sequel to the wildly popular EvoCity, and it won't disappoint. In progress for more than a year, EvoCity2 will surely prove itself worth the excruciating wait. The project of two mappers, Sgt.Sgt (http://forums.facepunchstudios.com/member.php?u=53097) and Sir Zoloft (http://forums.facepunchstudios.com/member.php?u=22109), EvoCity2 will change Garry's Mod RP forever.
Sb_Gooniverse2
Facepunch user amirite (http://forums.facepunchstudios.com/member.php?u=83849) is back with his second Gooniverse map, Gooniverse2 (http://forums.facepunchstudios.com/showthread.php?t=445711). This map, also in progress for over a year, has the potential to shake up Garry's Mod. Sb_gooniverse is the third most popular map already; gooniverse2 will only be bigger. Talk about this map 'died down' for a while, but has picked back up as of late. While this map is still very... mysterious, you can expect to see it on every spacebuild server.[...]
